Hi, there thanks for the email reply with offer of premium service, i have managed to solve this problem now and would share the experience with this forrum. Here is how it goes. I got this solution from another forrum which i tried and worked. 1. download utility-tools cleaner from Nero web and erase the old nero 6 with this cleaner, 2.then re-boot pc, 3,after this re-install Nero 6 and bingo it worked wonderfull. it takes 11 min, for Dvd and 8 min for cdr burning, which is just about normal.
My advice to my friends on this forrum is in addition to above process is to avoid buffer fluctuation is to clean the system before burning, ie use ccleaner for rubbish files then advanced windows care 2,registery cleaner, both programs are free for home use, Or similiar programes, another point to remember is to close down all unneccesary programms running in the background to have more ram to speed up burning process. I hope this would be helpfull to any of my friends on this forrum if you have similiar problem with Nero 6 burning.
Good Luck
Shamsher.

How can I burn a CD or DVD of a "movie" I made with photos and music? I am using Microsoft Picture It Express 9. Any help would be great!

Hi!

Firs of all you need to think on in what format you having that movie in. I guess you want to play it in a ordinary dvd and and they are restricted, all dvds plays mpeg bur not all plays dvix, xvid etc

When you have decided the format you need a burning program, one of the best is Nero ( http://www.nero.co ) its not free but you can download and try it for 30 days.
Another program is cdburner ( http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ ), that oen is free, not as good as nero in my opinion..but..its free

After installing the burner program you need to select if you need a cd or a dvd disk to burn on, a cd takes 700mb, there are cd:s that takes 800mb but they are more expensive. A dvd takes 4,7gb.

Now its time to burn, start the program select the disk you going to burn on, then its just to drag and drop the moviefile you want to burn. When the movie file is in place, start burning, select the burning speed, dont burn to fast since you burning a movie, i recoemnd a speed of 15-20x speed

After burning, your done! take out the disk ans enjoy your movie!
Let me know how it goes

Good luck
Nic

PS, i asume that you have a cd/dvd burner on your pc

Try Nero 6 or 7. You can find them on eBay. I have had no problems using Nero.
