We have a Jenn-Air electric slide in oven, model W131. It appears to work fine in all respects except that it doesn't come up to the set temp even though it tells you it has. Set at 350, it notifies...

if you changed the sensor most likely it will be the clock assy.it's not just a clock it also has a computer board built into it.you're missing a few letters off of the model number so when you call your parts store give them the full model number so they will sell you the right clock assy. i believe your board is around 150 dollars.if the elements are good and a new sensor all that's left is the board or clock assy. good luck with your stove.

Jenn Air JGR8750 - Oven heats _very_ slowly; take 45 to 60 minutes to heat to 450ºF. I can hear faint ''whump whump whump'' from the oven as it heats. Purchased in 1998.

The problem is usually the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. This video will walk you thru the correct procedure for testing an oven igniter. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

Oven will not maintain tempature with what was programmed

You might try calling Sears, or wherever you purchased the oven. Or even an appliance repairman. It sounds like the oven temp needs to be re-calibrated, or buy a thermostat to put inside the oven and follow the temp it says.

I was broiling on jenn-air convention oven on high about 30 minutes came back oven had turned itself off seem like it was overheated wouldn't allow you to do anything else

On this model there is a blower fan or cooling fan located between the cooktop and the oven. When oven temps reach @ 550 deg this fan should turn on to keep the controls cool. If it did not come on, you may have a bad fan thermostat or a bad fan. What happened is the control overheated and shut down on you.

Oven won't reach proper temperature and hold

If the element glows its ok , if you have replaced the sensor with a new one it can only be the control board. in some cases you can adjust the temp. through the control , it should list directions to do so in the manual. Good luck

Oven temp set at 350. only heated to 310 after 1 hour! Set to 390 before reached 350. What to do?

Use an oven thermometer Try to figure out if by setting it to 390 it will maintain 350 accurately. (A 25 degree change while it cycles is normal. It will probably overshoot before going off and undershoot a little before cycling on.) If so the thermostat has just drifted. Pull off the control know and look usually there is an adjustment on the shaft to change the temp showing on the knob. set it up 50 degrees. If the knob can't be changed just know that you have to adjust yourself. If it won't maintain a steady temp the thermostat is bad and will need to be replaced. The thermostat will be over $100 it may not be worth it. If this is a computer controled unit (pushbutton temp selection) the sensor needs to be replaced. This is a lot cheaper than a thermostat.

Temperature

Your manual should tell you how to adjust the temp. up or down.  If this doesn't work then replace the oven temp sensor.
