Deleting e-mails how do I delete many e-mails at one time, instead of individually? Is there a way to high light a large number of them and then deleting all of the highlighted ones at once. Eg. on my computer you can highlight by using the ctrl button and cursor highlighting each one with the cursor, then hit delete and all highlighted are deleted.

Hold down the "caps" key (bottom left-most or right-most key) and while holding down the key use the track-ball to move down or up selecting multiple emails ... then just delete as usual.

My problem is my 3230 cellphone sometimes it appear memory full closed some application.

You may want to delete the following items regularly to avoid memory getting
low:
• Messages from the Inbox, Drafts, and Sent folders in Messaging.
• Retrieved e-mail messages from the phone memory.
• Saved browser pages.
• images and photos in images.
To delete contact information, calendar notes, call timers, call cost timers, game
scores, or any other data, go to the respective application to remove the data.
If you are deleting multiple items and another of the following notes are shown:
Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first. or Memory low.
Delete some data. try deleting items one by one (starting from the smallest item).
Clearing the calendar memory - To remove more than one event at a time, go to
the Month view and select Options→Delete entry→

Lots of memory on blackberry pearl, but still deleting

Check to see how long your mail is configured for retention.

Open your in-basket. Press the menu button, and select "options".

Scroll to the bottom and the last option is "keep messages". You can set this for anywhere from 15 days to forever.

Cant delete the thread on the g1

ya....its a known issue that should be resolved when cupcake software is released.....

you WILL encounter this force close error message everytime to attepmt to delete messages if you have over 100 messages in the inbox....

just select menu > delete threads and select the force close error when it pops up. you should be okay.....just keep doing that till cupcake is out. if that doesnt help, youll need to have the phone reset. try going to MENU > SETTINGS > SD CARD AND PHONE STORAGE > RESET PHONE > ERASE EVERYTHING.

**as long as you remember you gmail username and password, all of your contacts and calander apps will be restored on the handheld. if you do not remember them, you will loose EVERYTHING if you complete this reset.**

good luck :)

How to delete

For Editing Data: Retrieve the file to edited; touch [Shift], then either [< delete] or [> insert] to move the blinking cursor to the character or number to be edited.  Touch [Shift] [< delete] for deleting or [Shift]  [> insert] for inserting a character, digit, or symbol.
For Deleting Data: 1) Find the Data to be deleted. 2) Touch [Shift][CE/C] ([CE/C] only depending on model) key. *DELETE?* is displayed. 3) Touch [Go]. *DELETE!* is displayed for 3 seconds then the data is deleted.
Note: If [CE/C] has been touched in error, simply touch any other key except the [GO] key to avoid deletion.

Sync doesn't sync with Calendar, then Hot Sync crashes

Try Creating a New profile from Start Control Panle > Mails > show profile > Add profile > After Adding the profile set the new profile as default

Try deleting the partnership by disconnecting the device and opening and deleting the partnership.

Plug your device back and try to sync

This should work

Casio em-500 deleting mail programs!!!

I believe they are in unit's ROM, which is non-reprogrammable. Hence, you won't be able to delete anything from there. On the positive side, they don't occupy your main memory, so there's really no harm in letting them dwell in your PDA. :)
