Hello, this can be a problem withnthe control board, capacitor, or the motor itself is bad. Try jumping the L1 wire with the low voltage motor wire , if this gets the motor running the control board is bad. If the board apperas fine and you have power to the motor then try to spin the blower wheel by hand, if this starts the motor then the capacitor is bad and will need to be replaced. if none of the above work the motor will need to be replaced.

I would check the "G" wire at the Thermostat and make sure that it has a solid connection. The other end screws on to a terminal in the furnace. Check this connection as well. This green(G) wire is what activates the 120v relay on the circuit board. You can test this by turning the thermostat to the off position and then jumping the 24v R terminal with the 24v G terminal at the furnace. if the fan comes on then the problem is in the thermostat wire or the thermostat itself.

remove the blower unit it slides out on some gas furnaces you may have a control bord in the way if you dont have a goodman motor you will need a belly band to clamp to new motor to provide the mounting arms also after loosening the shaft set screw spray w wd40 turn on side and shake motor should fall out if gas furn 115v motor hope this helps

NO BECAUSE THE BOARD IS TELLING THE FANS TO STARTARE THE CONTACTS FUSED TOGETHER OR STUCK IN THE CLOSED POSISTION CHECK THIS FIRST

Yes. If the high limit is tripped, the furnace will bring on the fan continuously until the limit resets. Often, they will not reset if tripped repeatedly. If the furnace is too large for your application, you probably are not able to move enough air to keep the heat exchanger cool enough.

Hello, most likely the capacitor has failed and needs to be replaced. the capacitor is a small oval or round can with either two or three prongs on it. When a capacitor goes bad the motor has trouble starting.
