Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
My acer aspire 5500 is recently reset. Can't find any wireless network now. It says it does in an icon, but when I check there none. It broadcom wireless utility it shows no adapters.
I installed the right drivers.
Anyone can help?
First, go to Windows security settings. I recently had a client with this exact problem, and it was her Windows firewall blocking the wireless adapter from "seeing" anything. If necessary, turn the firewall completely off to test.
Secondly, if that doesn't fix it, remove/uninstall the Wireless adapter completely from device manager. Reboot, let Windows attempt to reinstall the driver. If asked, point it to the driver files you've already installed. Reboot, and that should fix you up.
Let me know if this helps :)
