Microphone even on my yahoo messanger, i can hear them but they cannot hear me.

I think some problem with your yahoo messanger............. reinstall u r yahoo messanger
and install new version

Yes you really need to get microphone to send your audio to your friend.

There are desktop microphone available in market with quite reasonable rates. Also, you can get headphone to with microphone for the same purpose. Below are images of both for your reference

Please go to yahoo messenger preferences. There you can enable alert sounds for the activities you like.

go to yahoo messenger, then click on who ever u wish to talk with, then click on call, then it will be calling the recipient, that is if u are using latest Laptop, that means u dont need any microphone with earpiece, but if u are not then u need a microphone with earpieces in other for u to ear and able to communicate

can u see ur video on the screen. if yes then properly configure ur video conferencing software and u will be certainly able to broadcast ur video to the caller. download yahoo messanger and then create a yahoo account and log into yahoo messanger. then plug in the cam and go to action menu and then click on view my webcam. u will be able to see the video on the screen. call any one who has cam and u can see his video nad that person can see u and can hear u if u have microphone with u....then happy video chatting

Go to the e-machine support website. Find your model then find the soundcard driver  for VISTA ,for the built-in soundcard .
