Black screen When we turn on the camera the screen is black and all picture taken are black. If we preview the previous pictures they are fine. I tried taking out the card, changing batteries, but still the problem persists.

No, unfortunately the lens is fine and nothing is covering it.

Does the menu in the camera work?
You may need to activate some Postview function in the menu. If the camera takes pictures, you should be able to view them in playback mode. There could also be a Preview mode, which requires pressing OK before storing pictures. Preview/Postview should cancel each other though...

Delayed preview image

Sounds like you accidentally pressed the DISP button on the back (it manually turns the LCD screen on and off to save batteries). Turn the camera on and press the DISP button once. Hopefully that should fix it.

LCD Screen does not work properly

Your camera works just like a film camera SLR,. You use the eyepiece to frame and focus your picture. The LCD screen is for reviewing pictures taken or menu operations. You cannot preview a shot on screen before it is taken with the camera.

This is a system failure Tell Fuji Support about it but I fear any repair offer will be nearly the price of a new camera- unless of course it is still under warranty
