Hi can anyone advise please I have an Canon Pixma IP4300 Printer, excellent machine apart from an annoying Squeak on start up anyone else had this prob? email me please firstname.lastname@example.org

Just restart the system and turn off the printer and turn on the printer it will work.
Check did you correctly placed your cartidges.

SOURCE: Rollers squeak.
This probably means the rollers are getting slick and a little glazed. Dell printers seem prone to this. It's harmless unless it is the primary (big) rollers that push the paper up into the toner drum. See my advice to the paper jam question for fixing that.
