Just stealing the picture from this ebay link http://cgi.ebay.com/Gateway-Wireless-Key...

The receiver is an RR-0403U. It looks like another $10-15 :-)

There's a huge difference between a WAP and a wireless keyboard. The keyboard has a brand name associated with it and a transceiver. It plugs into the USB or PS-2 slot or both and both keyboard and transceiver require batteries.

Try a search engine for a set of directions, probably Logitech.

I am so happy to tell you that I actually found the driver that you need! This thing was definitely hard to find!

Here is the download along with the instructions for installing your wireless keyboard and mouse, this should get everything running: http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/3310Series/TMEWUR-0401/TMEWUR-0401si2.shtml

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion laptop but the HP WLAN is always disabled. How can I fix this problem?

All laptops have a user button or switch to turn the wireless access on or off. Look for a red light above the keyboard; touch it and it should turn blue (that will turn the access on again). Alternatively, you could have a switch in the front or along the sides to turn wireless access on or off. Hope this helps.

Computer won't recogniz 2WIRE 2701HG-B. Need drivers

The site says:

You do not need to install the 2Wire Wireless Client Manager if your computer contains a built-in client manager (such as Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista), which will work in conjunction with any 2Wire wireless adapters

If you have a driver un-install it and have windows find it for you. That is there recomendation. It says the driver disk they used to use was for the old operating systems.

Passphrase required by wireless network how to

first if you wire to the router, you can 'talk' to the router to find out the password.
Once wired open internet explorer.
go to the address, (not a search bar, the address bar at the very top. http:// etc.)
type 192.168.2.1 and go, or enter on your keyboard. password is blank by default. go to the wireless section and read or change the pass phrase for the wireless.

Have you tried e-mailing Belkin Customer Support? I had a similar problem, with my PC, they sent the info I needed and I was on line in under 6 minutes (this after spending many frustrating hours scouring the internet).

Software problem

There is usually an IP address you have to type to get access to this hardware. Often you don't need the CD to install this hardware. The IP address is usually 192.168.0.1 for routers. Sometimes they differ. To find out if you go to start then run. When a box appears type in there cmd then press enter on your keyboard. This should bring you to DOS. Black page with white text. If you type into that box ipconfig and then press enter on your keyboard. The IP address you see net to the default gateway is your router address. Writed down those numbers and that box you are in just type the word exit and press enter on your keyboard and that box will disappear.Type that IP address into your address bar by opening up your browser. This will bring you to the hardware page of your router. You can do all the confguring from this page. Sometimes a box with user name and password appears. The username is usually admin and the password is either password, admin or these is no password so you just press enter on your keyboard and then when you're in start configuring. Run the setup wizard first before you do anything else. Then I would go to wireless and password protect your network. I usually password the router as well. This option is in the setup wizard you did earlier. Good luck
