Question about Mustek Dv526l Digital Camcorder

Open Question

Why won't it let me do anything?

I click the power button and the blue image comes on (that says "Mustek"). However, it stays on that screen, I can't do anything else. It wono't change screen to take pictures or record or do anything! I try pressing the other buttons (i.e. mode, LCD on/off, display, menu, ok) but it won't change.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Mustek DV-3500 DV Digital Camcorder /keeps turning off

Be sure the batteries are not the rechargeable types.  I had this problem when I first got my camera about 4 years ago.  Also, try adjusting the quality settings for the functions.  For example, set the photo function at normal rather than fine.

SOURCE: The camera has no image on the LCD or viewfinder

There is two reasons. 1 is lens problem Then the shutter (iris motor) not working this sometimes sticks two shtterplates. If u can remove the iris motor & clean the plates & refix it again it can solve. It is very delicate u must be very careful. If iris motor problem u can find out very easly. When u power off the camera u place the camera's lens area to ur ear u can hear the click sound then lens is ok. if no click sound shutter is not working. 2. mostly ccd deffective or ccd drive circuit problem

Sorry for such a long delay in replying to you. Hadn't noticed it before. Anyway, you can hard reset your phone by means of a keys combination: slide your phone's keyboard open. Then, press and hold both the blue 'Fn' and the green 'Call' button, and whilst keeping them pressed, briefly press the reset pin with the stylus pen. Release the keys only after a confirmation screen comes up. Confirm the procedure by pressing the left softkey (which should be labeled 'yes'). You, most probably, know that this procedure will erase everyting you have installed on your phone, as well as all your personal data, as if you had just purchased your phone.
Hope it works for you.
Anyway, please, let me know if you need further informations.
Regards, Carlos
