I had some problems my self when trying to get online to xbox live. Usually when it can't find your DNS is when something is wrong for example:

  • Wires not connected propperly.
  • Information you entered not correct.

If the problem still persists, contact Microsoft.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Well i got to network connected but internet failed

You may need to also plug in your computers DNS settings into your XBOX. 1. You should be able to click Start, type "view network connections", hit enter. 2. Right-click and hit 'Status', then 'Details'. 3. Notice the IPv4 DNS Server. 4. Go to your system / Network / Wired on the XBOX and try typing in your Computers DNS numbers (ex. 192.168.1.254) Unless they changed it on the new Blade system so that you HAVE to have and IP, subnet, and gateway, in which case, take note of those three numbers on your machine and plug those into the XBOX settings too (except if your computer shows 192.168.1.150, set your XBOX to something like 192.168.1.155, everything else the same).

I AM SIGNING UP 4 XBOX LIVE AND MY INTERNET CONNECTION FAILED IN RESULT OF AN INCORRECT SECONDARY DNS SERVER IM WONDERING WHERE DO U GO 2 FIND THAT

Have you tried dns settings in automatic? I take it from your post that you have the primary dns server, my primary and my secondary has only one number difference,
primary 194.168.4.100
secondary 194.168.8.100
you only have 9 numbers to try so its worth a go, I hope this helps because I know from experience what a frustrating pain in arse this can be.
Remember thumbs up if this helps.

Have you tried restarting your cable/dsl modem or router.

Xbox 360 live DNS test failed

if you are connecting directly to the modem, then you are going to need to get the dns info from your ISP. If you have a router just put the router address or let it find it automatically. Also check that the router has the right dns settings from the ISP.

Dns number failing

The DNS number is the connection you are getting from your Internet Service Provider. When you get this failure, it means nothing else is gettin internet. (should mean that.) I would call them to ask,.

Ps3 wireless hook up

First you need to find a Windows wired or wireless device already connected to the network in order to find out the required settings

Windows XP
1. Click start --> (sometimes settings) --> Control Panel --> Network Connections
2. Double click on the active connection which will say connected underneath
3. Click Support
4. Click Details
5. Now the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Alternate DNS which are displayed should be noted.

Windows Vista
1. Click Start --> Control Panel --> Network and Sharing Center
2. Click on "View Status" to the right of your connection
4. Click Details
5. Now the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Alternate DNS which are displayed should be noted.

Set these values under "manual settings" in the PS3 but add 1 to the last number for the IP Address as this has to be unique on your network

Try calling XBOX customer support. They will know exactly how to fix your problem. Their number is 1-800-4MY-XBOX. (1-800-469-9269). This is the best way to fix this problem because the technicians are certified and they know what to do.

Hope this helps,
