this has to go between the house roof and the garage roof, would the cement forms for the 4x4;s be strong enough to use on the corners, and in the middle for support.is fiberglass strong enough for the roof,it is not a permanent fixture

Go up to the roof and start making measurements
shop for light weight materials

kinda hard to make exact suggestions as we can't see the project, mind posting pictures ?

Use the roofslopper sheets which comes in zigzag format which will help you cover the deck beutifully and also it will avoid any water deposition or any other problem that the normal roof causes.roofsloppers are the best for the requirements like yours .

Hi ,
My suggestion is that you can follow these,
1. Attach a 2" x 6" ledger board to the side of the house.
2. Either dig holes or use anchor plates for 4 - 4" x 4" posts evenly spaced at the front of the deck.
3. Run 2" x 6" boards around the outside sloping down from the back.
4. Use 2 - 2" x 6" joist hangers opposite the posts at the back and run 2" x 6" from back to front.
5. Using joist hangers again, install 2" x 6" between joists at 24" on center .
That will give you your framework to lay plywood or decking before roofing.
If you are putting a metal roof, you will not need the plywood.
Hope this info helps you, Thanx for using fixya, Good Luck.

it will be near impossible to give plans without seeing your house/garage and so forth. jsut be sure you dont build and cause water to back up under your existing shingles

Sony rear projection lcd hd tv 46 inch...the replacement bulb indicator popped on ....i bought a bulb but haven't replaced it yet. now i see a 1 inch rainbow strip across the top of the tv. from end to...

Replacing the bulb won't fix this problem. This is a defect in the optical block, which is apparently fairly common.
The best way to get in contact with the team that can fix this problem is by facebook. While on facebook, type "I have a defective Sony TV" in the search bar. This will bring up a page that is moderated by the SonyListens Team.
Post a comment about your TV, be sure to list your model number and a description of what's wrong with it. Someone within a few days will give you more information as to what steps to take next. It will seem like a lot of hoops to jump through, but in the end will be worth the time it took, as Sony will offer you huge discounts on a newer TV (I recently went through this, and got a new 3D ready TV for about a quarter of it's suggested retail value). If you are not on facebook, they list a contact email address as SonyListens@am.sony.com
Also worth noting: if you have receipts for recent repairs or replacement bulbs, you can submit them along with the other info, and Sony should adjust the offer price to compensate.
One word of warning though, once you have started this process and have received an offer from Sony, you will only have a week to claim the offer, so make sure you have the funds to put down on a new TV before you start.
Hope this helps! :-)

Had a power surge into the house- the tv was not on a surge protector and i am wondering if the tv is blown out- or is there a fuse possibly that blows at a power surge?

hello kath... if the tv won't come on now the power surge fried internal fuse and possibly more. The least expensive way to get this repair is to physically take the tv to the repair shop. If they have to make house calls, the cost goes up significantly. Joe

I have a Sony Wega KP-FX432M91 Prjection TV. I am moving house and I want to know if I can lay the TV flat on it's back to move as it's too tall to stand upright in our vehicle

Hi,
Please do not lay tv on its back because of its internal design, things are mounted inside vertically and screws are holding them in place. Laying tv on back will put force on screws that might came off or get loose and you will end up with a distorted picture on tv screen.
Move tv in stand upright position, it is safe.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

My tv keeps going to no signal

I take it you have no cable or dish. If this is the case put your antenna out side or for best results use a roof type antenna. You may have metal siding on your house.

you may bypass the box by using a straight connector, find the cable that lead to the TV room and connect it to the cable from the aerial antenna.
