this has to go between the house roof and the garage roof, would the cement forms for the 4x4;s be strong enough to use on the corners, and in the middle for support.is fiberglass strong enough for the roof,it is not a permanent fixture

Go up to the roof and start making measurements
shop for light weight materials

kinda hard to make exact suggestions as we can't see the project, mind posting pictures ?

Use the roofslopper sheets which comes in zigzag format which will help you cover the deck beutifully and also it will avoid any water deposition or any other problem that the normal roof causes.roofsloppers are the best for the requirements like yours .

Hi ,
My suggestion is that you can follow these,
1. Attach a 2" x 6" ledger board to the side of the house.
2. Either dig holes or use anchor plates for 4 - 4" x 4" posts evenly spaced at the front of the deck.
3. Run 2" x 6" boards around the outside sloping down from the back.
4. Use 2 - 2" x 6" joist hangers opposite the posts at the back and run 2" x 6" from back to front.
5. Using joist hangers again, install 2" x 6" between joists at 24" on center .
That will give you your framework to lay plywood or decking before roofing.
If you are putting a metal roof, you will not need the plywood.
Hope this info helps you, Thanx for using fixya, Good Luck.

I put a tape in and it keeps flipping sides without playing and pops out and says Error. It even does it with a CD-Cassette Adapter. Before the Cln came up and I pressed on the eject button and that...

Cassette decks have sensors on the reels which tells the deck when the tape is at the end. When the reel stops the deck switches the direction of the tape and sometimes the position of the head(depending on the deck design). Most common problem is the tape is hard to turn, or the deck won't turn it ( deck thinks it's at the end, click, still won't turn, click, won't turn, click) you should fast forward and/or rewind your tapes from start to finish once in a while to keep them lined up(narrow spool/less friction), you shouldn't have to but it works. BUT,...your problem sounds like a slipping or broken belt/or dirt causing the problem. Take the deck out to have a look and clean the capstans(rubber rollers)belts, heads with alcohol and a Q-tip while your at it. Dirt's usually the main culprit and if you do have some other problem, cleaning it is always a win/win (It will also sound better clean)

How can i fit a support for a single storey garage roof and a brick gable end

This might need a lot of calculation depending on the load of the roof , the material of the roof , the estimated storage load.
now based on these the size or material of the support coulumn can be decided as the structural design is most important to hold eventhough you have a brick end .
Posible use of Iron girders will be good.

I have a hard top roof for a 2011 4 door Jeep Wrangler. I want to use a pulley system in my garage to store the hard top just below the ceiling of my garage. I can then lower the roof onto the Jeep when...

Did that once myself. For me, the first thing I learned was that wherever I needed the same exact length of "rope" I used chain. I wrapped the chain in the rubber insulation used on 1/2" pipe to protect the top where necessary. By using chain I just counted the links to get exact lengths and make adjustments where I needed to. I built a 2x4 frame to the size of the roof with the idea of having a chain come down in each corner to hook onto the roof. Also had chain going from each corner of the 2x4 frame to a common point I would lift from. Think of a 2.5 feet of chain from each corner meeting at a point above the roof. I attached a boat winch to the wall of the garage and through some pulleys I was able to winch the roof off and lower it when I wanted to put it back on. By using the chain I was able to make adjustments to height, tilt, etc. Hope this helps.

Audi 2005 A4 Cabrio...roof stuck partially down. How do I fix?

This has happened to my wife's 2004 A4 Convertible 2x's. I had to read the owner's manual several times to get the job done correctly (pages in the high 70's to low 80's) ...the following is offered from memory: The handle/tool needed to accomplish the task 'manually' is located in the fuse box on the LEFT SIDE of the dashboard. A small flat blade screwdriver will enable you to pry open the fuse cover & gain access to the handle/tool. Slight twist the tool and it comes out easily. Tool is a "T" shaped handle. Once you have the handle/tool IN HAND, simply turn the RED part (only) on the handle until it 'locks' in an open position. Leaves a small space on the handle. Can't recall if you go clockwise or counterclockwise, but it will be evident. Now...move both front seats forward and tilt them to gain access to rear seat. Remove the ski boot cover in middle of the rear seat and put aside. Then, 'click' the interior boot cover panel down to gain access to a 'hole' (about size of a 50 cent piece) in the top of the boot space. This hole allows you to insert (upward) the above mentioned tool into a lock/unlock mechanism in the rear deck just forward of the trunk. The tool needs to be jiggled to go 'all the way' in...you will sense that. Once in, TURN the RED part of the handle to "LOCK" the handle into the mechanism. The tool will hang down by itself. My approach is to 'store' the roof in the open convertible position first. The front portion of the roof should be partially forward as that appears to 'release' a lever within the roof's up/down mechanism to allow you to raise the rear window portion. Thus, lift (with that friend) the rear window portion up and forward (takes some effort). The roof now has a kind of 'clamshell' appearance front & rear. The front may even flop forward but tht's OK. This step exposes the rear deck. Twist the tool to unlock the rear deck. It should click & release and a small space appears enabling you to use hands (that friend again) under it (the deck). Lift the deck up & back until the hydraulics kick in and keep the deck vertically open. Now you are ready to tackle the roof & rear window for storage under the rear deck cover. Get a friend, if possible to help with the lifting...remember, this is a "Manual" job! Once here, gently push back & lower the rear window portion of the roof into the open storage area simultaneously followed by the remainder of the roof itself. Watch fingers for possible pinching in the levers, etc., during this part of operation Hopefully you now have the roof & rear window stored in the area in front of trunk and be able to lower the rear deck to almost closed position. If so, go back to the tool and twist it to 'lock' the deck in place with roof stored. Remove tool from the ski storage area by reversing procedure above. Now comes the "Moment of Truth"! With the ignition turned on and car running, use the roof switch to bring the stored roof up and all the way to the closed position. Don't forget you must keep your finger on that switch until the operation completely finishes. Then, reverse the process to open & store the roof for a good blow dry (drive)!

There might be a possibility have you tried manually changing the wireless channelto 9,11,or 1. by default cordless phone has channel 6. It might help if you put the base of the router or the phone away from each other.

Plasma TV Reception

Bro the reception in that area of the house must be poor, as you've said. The walls in that area of the house must be too thick, or some part of the house is blocking the signal that the attena emits. You should consider getting an antenna that can be placed outside the house, like on the roof top. Make sure it isn't being blocked by anything, like trees with large branches or whatever.
