SOURCE: bought 3 Jazz JDC230 cameras for my grand kids for
If the driver was installed with success the camera will be seen like a drive (removable storage device ) in MY computer folder..Just pay attention when you connect it if it says device installed and ready to use..If it says so it means it work ..
If the camera do not have a memory card on it ..it may be a little tricky to get the pictures if it is not seen like a removable device ..Take a look in the disk that came with the camera and see if there is any other software beside the driver ..It may require a photo manager to get the pictures from its internal memory ..If it hasd..open it and click on import pictures..select the camera by name and import ..
you can also use the windows movie maker to import the pictures and than save them to the desktop from there ...same thing ..import from device ..select the camera by name and go for it ..or use ACDsee 9 as photo manager cause it has a import from device ..feature..(download it from the net ) ..
The only issue that may occur is the driver not to fit with the operation system ..but in this case it will refuse the installation ..so I dont think is the case..
In the last resort ..if nothing seam to work ..use the memory card to store the picture on ..and after that use the card directly in the card reader of the laptop (or desktop ) and copy files from it ..
