I got a "Communicating Error" when using battery on my cam.

What are you trying to do.. just use the camcorder in general? Also, the battery you're using, is it an authentic JVC data battery or is the battery made by a different company?

Yes am just using my cam and suddenly that error occurs. yes am using original JVC data battery. anyways i already brought it to a jvc service center and it's already fix. they're not so clear what really happens but they got it running again after 5 weeks in their hand.

My jvc gz-mg330 dont work and on the srean its said communicating error

I presume the error is in between cam CPU and the Data Battery. Check your battery contact and camera's battery terminals and clean especially the pin marked "c". This contact is the link between BATTERY and CAMERA CPU so that your cam knows how much power left in your battery. Sometimes a DC JACK failure or defective battery shows the same warning. Good Luck!

Moultrie I40 getting error code 480 and wont go into auto mode

ERROR CODE 000480 ?
If this is correct,it relates to: Camera Mod test failed;(4); and under Memory Test, 8= Comms Error.New batteries(good ones) may fix it...
It' not communicating with memory card..ck it's inserted good..press down until it stays down(press again and it will pop up.
Follow instructions on deleting internal memory before installing SDcard.
Also, make sure cam supports kind of card you're using..at 4gb and larger, they become confusing;i.e., 4/8/16mb...older cams won't support some of these. Also there are HC(high capacity); HD(high definition)don't work in these cams..
I posted this for a fix a few days ago, and it turned out to be brand new bad batteries.

One of the 2 battery does not work on camcorder.

some of those batteries come with a lid on the face side of the battery where u insert a power cord in order for the camcorder to get power from the battery. (strange........ I know). the battery mounts on the camcorder but acts as as an external source of power. a cord needs to be plugged into the battery and then int the ac adapter jack in order to send power.... that is if it is anything like my camcorder.

JVC EVERIO HYBRID GZ-MG330 Battery error?

I bought a replacement data battery BN-VF-808U from Digicowfish through Amazon.com. (?made by PomerPower).
It fits nciely to my JVC Everio GZ-MG330 which uses a BN-VF808U data battery. However, JVC gives a screen message:Communicating Error.
Now I have solved my Communication Error by using a jumper cable provided with the replacement battery BN-VF808U to connect the attached replacement battery to the camcorder. There is a DC input socket on the camcorder. There is also a DC input socket on the replacement battery for direct connection.
