Here is a tip that I wrote about dryers and noises...
It will help you determine what is happening there...

Dryer squeqks while rotating

It could be a noisey idler pulley that belt rides on, or a noisey drum bearing or drum glides, or even possibly a motor bearing going bad. Would need to be checked by repairman to determine exact cause.

Hotpoint Aquarius Model WD61 Washer Dryer working but it's noisey

If you've just installed it for the first time ensure that transporting locks been removed (big screws under usualy yellow or white plastic covers at the back side of the machine)
Make sure that machine is standing flat on the floor with no swinging whe you try to move it, this can be achieved by adjusting four legs of the machine (one at each corner).
If neither of those helps than you need to identify when the noise appears what machine is doing at that moment. If the noise appears when it's draining, pumping water out, than your machine's pump is wearing out, or if it's noisy when spining (final spin) than bearing of the drum is wearing out.

Update me about your progress

Good Luck

Working but making noise when spinning.

  • Hi,
  • Try these:
  1. Balance the load
  2. Level the machine
  3. Inspect the water pump for a blockage
  4. Inspect the coupling
  5. Inspect the transmission
  6. Adjust the drive belt tension
  7. Check the motor bearings
  8. Check the drum brakes
