Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer
Printer will only print in a light blue . BOTH cartriges changed.
Printer will not work properly

I had a similar problem. I called Kodak Tech Support about 10 mintues ago and the rep determined I needed a new printhead. They are sending it with new black/color cartridges and will be here within 2 business days.

Go to Kodak website,look for support, and repair. Online testing will probably determine that a new printhead is needed and they will probably send you a new one. My printer is only 9 months old and it has same problem.

Try updating your printer drivers:
Create a new folder on your desktop and name it newhpdrivers(substitute your manufacturer in new name). Un-intall printer and printer software completely. Go to manufacturers website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu. Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop. Power down your computer. Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on. Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files. Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done

You can also bypass the alignment. When the message for alignment displays on the display => Press Setup and Options (or Copy Options ) simaltanious.The last known alignment is used when the alignment is bypassed.
