First try unplugging the printer, then take the paper tray out, the toner cartridge out, open the back cover and inside the back cover near the power cord is a blue lever. Try pushing this down as you see if you can remove the jammed paper.

There is a door at the back of your printer. Open it. Now there is a lever on the side which releases a second door. (It swings open from the top back.) Once open, you should be able to remove the remaining bit of paper.
hope this helps appreciate by rating it

Have a paper jam in my pixma ip4500 and cant see the paper anywher to take it out?

Paper jam I suppose is the commonest of all printer problems as it can occur due to strayed, stuck bits of papers in pathway of paper tray, outlet, roller etc. I would recommend cleaning the paper inlet, outlet, and other possible areas to avoid a paper jam situation.

Follow the given steps to clear paper jam
>Clear any loose paper from the paper tray. This will help you locate the jam. You will find it either in front, near the paper tray, or in the rear.

->To clear a paper jam near the paper tray, grip the paper and pull it firmly but gently from the printer. If you find a stack of papers jammed, grab from the middle of the stack and pull.

->For a rear jam, remove the back of the printer. When you find a free edge on the paper, grip it firmly and pull it out.

->Replace the back cover. Press the "Resume" button or turn off the printer, and then turn it back on. Your settings should reset.

->Try printing another document

LEXMARK IMPACT S 305 A 5 PAPER JAMMING, HOW DO I REMOVE IT, THEIR IS NO WAY IN VIA THE BACK.

Please follow the steps below to fix the problem:

  1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
  2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
  3. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path or the paper path. Open the scanner unit or the printer cover.
  4. If you can see the paper jam, the cartridge area should give you enough space for your hand to reach on the jammed paper in the printer.
  5. Carefully remove the paper jam and make sure not to tear or leave torn pieces of paper in the printer. It can cause future paper jams.
  6. When the jam is cleared, close the printer cover.
  7. Rebrick (pull out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds).
  8. When the printer turns on, try to print again.

I cant fix the paper jam problem. every time i take the paper jam out it jams again

I have had paper jams in five different places on this machine. It has jammed at the pickup point from the tray, in which case you have to remove the paper tray and pull the jammed paper out. It has jammed at the manual paper feed tray, in which case you just have to pull the jammed paper out of the feed rollers. It has jammed at the toner/drum, in which case you have to open the front cover and pull the toner cartridge out to remove the jam. It has jammed in the back of the machine where the paper feeds through to the output tray, in which case you have to open the small back panel and remove the paper. And it has jammed in the output rollers, in which case you have to reach inside the output tray and remove the paper. Then once the jam is cleared there are times when the machine has to be unplugged for up to 8 hours to reset before it will function properly.

Paper jam on office jet G55 hp in a hard to reach location.

in rear of HP printers there is an access (clip on plastic plate) you should use to remove paper shads or jams. Pulling paper out from front may harm the printer. Open back and attempt removal of jam.

My NEC 870 laser printer has paper jam. How can I fix it?

Open the top printer door by pressing the round release button on the left side of the printer. Remove the toner cartridge (numbered 2) and the photoconductor cartridge (numbered 1) from the printer. This will give you full access to the paper path and you should be able to remove the jammed paper. If you pull on it and it begins to tear or is feels like it is caught on something, remove the paper and paper tray from the front of the printer and try to reach and remove the jammed paper pulling it back out the direction it went in.

With the jam removed, replace the paper tray and paper, re-install the photoconductor (#1) and the toner cartridge (#2) into the printer and close the top door. Make sure you get the door closed firmly and that it catches otherwise you will still have an error light and not be able to print.

That should fix your problem... good luck! :-)
