Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

Have just installed Canon IP4500 printer. Problem is with CD-LabelPrint/Adjust Circle Size. Outer Size value is OK. Inner Size value cannot be reduced to 21mm. Stated minimum Inner Size is 17.0mm. Display says its Initial Value is 43mm. Adjustment range is - 10mm. I cannot get it to less than 33mm. I have downloaded update cdlpwin130ben.exe but it appears to make no difference. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Ray

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Dvd and cd printing

This is an easy fix by creating your own template....choose program "cd-labelprint" >> file >> select paper >> new >> (select a name to save as) (select diameter sizes etc) >> OK.

CD printing error 'inner cover is open'

Reset the device when it is not functioning properly. If the device is not functioning properly or to clear memory, reset it.
  1. On the operator panel, press and hold the <ON/OFF> button for one second. (The display will go blank.)

Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.

  2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the <ON/OFF> button again.

  3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.

A support tech at Canon suggested I try this.

find the file ImageCache.ic - I found it in application data folder in My Documents, delete it.

Uninstall CD Label Print, search for any other "CD Label Print" files or folders and delete them too.

Re-boot and re-install CD Label Print.

This worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

Cheers
