All outside pictures come out very white. Inside seems to be okay. Have tried 'reset' but still no good.

A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.

Casio S600 Exilim takes outdoor overexposed pictures

Check the ISO ( film speed (ASA) that you have set change it to either 100 or 200 and even 64 if it allows that.

You need to have the shutter snap fast in sunny/bright conditions and the Aperture needs to be a large number like F11

The higher the number the smaller the aperture ( sharper image not bleached out) F4 can be too large so can F8 in many cases and will, combined with the wrong ISO ..overexpose your pictures.

Picture taken is so bright and with trasparent horizontal line

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

It's need repair camera machine shutter.

Very Bright Outdoor Photos with lines

The shutter is stuck. The electronic "noise" created by the solenoid trying to move the shutter blades causes the lines on your pictures. The bright outdoor pictures is due to the fact that the shutter is jammed open. You can try tapping the camera on the sides and bottom. This may jar the baldes loose. Failing that, you will have to find a shop that can obtain a replacement lens assembly for your camera.
