Your welcome. Todg, has a rude way about him, but he's pretty new and his numbers aint so great.

A lot of people forget to include a model number and we can only guess until we have it.

Are you still in need of help?

I have a N80SB stick nail gun that have been leaking air from the trigger valve but was still able to shoot nails. After 3 months of discontinued use, I plugged in the air hose and fire the first nail

A new trigger valve and o-ring kit will give you a like new gun. Just remember to replace all available o-rings in the kit, lightly grease all of them as you reassemble the gun and use pneumatic oil at the beginning of the day so you won't be doing it again in a couple months.

How do you change the rubber hand grip on a bostitch n80sb nailer? Do you simply stretch the rubber over the tail piece? Heat??

I haven't had to do this myself, but reference the link below for a guide to both parts and a diagram. This should help. You can also call as I have found them to be quite helpful.

My N80SB framing nailer won't shoot the new nails (non-clipped head). What do I need to do?

For a visual on what type of nail you should use go here:

http://packagingandfastening.com/air_stick_nails_28_degree_framing.htm

You will find a list of differnet nails sold that will work on your gun. Bostitch is about the only nailer that uses a welded wire strip of nails. Good luck

Owner manual

Most all manuals are available at www.bostitch.com, look for support tab, then select service parts and documents. Find your model number in the pull down list and finally select usage manual.pdf, enjoy.

My N80SB nailer all at wonce started leaking air some where near the triger and wont work. Could you tell me what to do? Thanks Tommy

Most likely the "O" ring seal has given way for some reason. If your not experienced in repairing this type of equipment, considering how dangerous a misrepaired tool like this can be, I recommend taking it to a qualified repair tech. Double check your purchase date it may still be under warantee.

N80sb-1 stanley bostitch framing gun.

Yes your nailer will drive other sizes of nails. For info and parts go to www.bostitch.com and look for the support tab then select service parts. Here you will find parts list and manual. To remove the tva11 trigger valve remove the retainer pin (the pin is 3mm) for the trigger and remove trigger. Next remove roll pin/pins that retain trigger valve. Use heavy glove to catch trigger valve as you apply air pressure to gun. The valve could pop out with great force so try lowering the pressure to gun. Before installing the new valve, check the opening for sharp edges which will cut orings. Good Luck and email if you have more questions.

you probably have a trigger valve that is green. if so then it will have to be replaced, the valve runs about $ 20 but you can put it in your self.

sounds like the rubber seals have dry rotted prob from not oiling it enough, but you should be able to go on the Bostitch web site and order new rubber seals for the gun
