I also have Mikomi DC.7120 and have had it working ok once on my computer, but suddenly stopped my son thought it was because he had downloaded new msn buti dont know. I took it back to argos and got a replacement but new one is the same. I have downloaded the cd and followed the instructions but no webcam picture. Is there something on my computer that i may have inadvertantly clicked? Is there something that needs to be allowed to make it work?

Sounds like the generic windows drivers or the WRONG driver is installed. The software wont correctly see or use the hardware untill the correct drivers for the hardware are there. Re-install the device if you have the driver disk. go to START-SETTINGS-CONTROL PANEL-SYSTEM-HARDWARE-DEVICE MANAGER. look for your cam there, if there is a yellow exclamation point or question mard next to it, it has problems most likely with the driver. Please post this info and i can help you further

unplug the cam from the computer, go to the device manager again, find your cam and right click on it, select un-install. turn off the computer. plug the cam back in, fire the computer up and let it autodetect the camera. When it asks for the drivers, direct it to the drivers on the CD or the file you downloaded them to and click ok. let me know how it goes...

I bought a mikomi dc-7115 webcam and all i can see is a white sreen and everyone else thats on msn yahoo and frogcam iv installed and uninstalled 6 times and its still the same

Apparrently after looking for this product, I could not find much of a lead to the manufacturers website.

The biggest problems with mikomi models are driver issues.
The worst part is Mikomi does not have an official website due to the fact that a company argos a company retailer from United Kingdom and a part of Ireland.

If your product came with a Cd with drivers and you installed the product the proper way, it should work with no problem.
Usually drivers will give you utility tools to test your webcam.

If that doesnt work, check the system requirements for the webcam. Make sure your computer meets those requirements. Then Proceed by making sure your system is up to date. ESPECIALLY the Messengers you would like to use your Cam on. This usually does the job.

If the above does not work, try removing Messengers, Re-intalling a newer up to date messenger...
(some of the newer were made to work on up to date messengers)... Then proceed to re-install your webcam.

Lastly try cables.

These are possible solutions to getting the webcam to work. I hope this works

If not i hope someone can give you another great solutions. Some issues are harder to fix than others. Driver issues can be complicated because it can be many things. or order of installation.

Wish you luck

Have brought mikomi dc-7120 webcam, mic doesn't work

make sure that the mic line is plugged in to the right port (i.e. pink), since most webcams have separate mic lines. then make sure the mic is not muted and is selected for capture on the volume control in windows.

You may not get the exact one if they have not kept up with drivers for that brand of web cam.

You can also get generic programs to download.
