I did'nt wrote the wiring order of my fan. It has a black, blue, yellow and white cables and i have no idea of the order. Can you help me? I need a wiring diagram for model 52-RDT hampton bay ceiling fan with lights.I changed the chain and installed the 4 wires back,but with the wall switch off the lights flash one time .and the fan won't run at all.it has a capacitor also. did I miswired.the switch it has L, 3,1,2 in order {anti clock -wise} markings.

Hi,
Technically you should be having two switches (since you have fan as well as light to control).
If so,
You should have about 4 wires on the ceiling.
They should be
1. Ground (bare copper or green)
2. Neutral (may be white)
3. Live1 (may be red)
4. Live2 (may be black)
Live1 and Live2 are the main wires which control fan and light separately.
Now, you have check the resistance between all 4 wires.
You should get two pairs of wires showing resistance.
Connect Live1 and Live2 to one of these two paird and neutral to both of them.
Good luck.
Becareful while wiring. Make sure the wires arent live/hot.
