    Hello K.L.

Can't see your answer, but I have solved the problem now. Two other niggling items are. 1. How do I adjust the volume and 2. How do I get out of the Demo Mode.? The manual is very scetchy indeed. KDC-241 Thanks.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Could be one or the other, look at every button on the face and ensure there is no mute button, although usually when you adjust the volume it will unmute. I would also look in back of the deck and make sure your wiring harness did not get disconnected, if it is connected you can try testing a speaker or two right from the harness and see if you get audio.
