Access iTunes I have 3 users on one pc each user had access to iTunes, but after I upgraded to the new iTunes version only one user can access iTunes, why is this? Is there a way to work around this? Please let me know what I can do to fix this. Thank you.

    I have the same problem with XP!! 2 people use 1 pc & only 1 user can access iTunes. iTunes say the folder in on another drive.

    You might have to recreate the desktop shortcuts to iTunes

    What happens when you run iTunes from a user's account who is not set up with iTunes anymore?

3 users have access to pc (do each have own windows account?) yes...then on the account that itunes was downloaded on move itunes to share folder in my computer...now copy the shortcut and paste on each account.....(now everyone can have access to itunes and create they very own likings of slowjams, pop, hip hop whatever,,,,,,

My computer crashed. I now have a new pc. I have an existing itunes account; with many tunes storeed on it. Quite simply how do I access it?

You might try logging into the ITunes page...enter your user name and password, and then you can access your account. Your tunes should be there, if they are stored online. If they were stored on your old computer, you are probably out of luck.

The ITunesLibrary.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version...

1. Quit iTunes.

Network issue

Hello

This is an unusual error. Error Code 1236 - The network connection was aborted by the local system.

There is no single issue that causes this error code, so we need to verify all of the networking basics are covered and working.

1. Verify the IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway are fully entered and / or populated by the DHCP server. Click START, then RUN, type in CMD then click the OK button. Type IPCONFIG /ALL - verify the three fields all have valid info for your network.

2. Verify you can see the local network - including other computers and network devices. This will rule out the possibliity that this computer cannot see any network devices and not just the shared folders

3. Log the user out and have another user that can access the shared folders log into this comptuer and try to access the shares. The user profile could be corrupted and preventing the user from accessing the shared folders. IF the new user cannot access the shared folders, then it is the PC / OS causing the issue. IF they can access the shared folders, backup the original user's data, delete their profile and have them log in again to create a new profile.

It is always recommended to upgrade Windows XP to Service Pack 3 - unless you have a very specific program that will not run on SP3.

Update to the latest version of iTunes

Make sure you have admin access

If your still having problems estore using a new user account Create a new user account on your computer and try to restore while logged in as the new user. iTunes will download a new version of the software restore file. After creating the new user, log in to that account and open iTunes and attempt to restore to see whether the issue persists in this new user.

Windows Vista and Windows XP
From the Start menu, choose Control Panel. Open User Accounts. Select Create a new account and follow the instructions to complete the account setup process. Once the new account is created, choose Log Off from the Start menu. Log in to the newly created user account.
When a restore issue is specific to a user, it is likely due to an unusable .ipsw file. The ".ipsw" files are what iTunes uses to restore your iPod or iPhone. If those files are unusable, then try deleting them so iTunes can download a new copy of them. Creating a new user will also cause new .ipsw restore files to be downloaded in the new user. You can find the ".ipsw" files in these locations:
Windows XP iPod touch: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates (If you don't see the Application Data folder, you may need to show hidden files by opening (My Computer) Click on Folder Options. in that window click on the view tab, and make sure that show hidden files is selected.
Windows Vista iPod touch: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates (If you don't see the AppData folder, you may need to show hidden files)

After removing and reinstalling the latest version of iTunes, try restoring iPhone or iPod touch again in the origonal user account.




As an added note, If running Microsoft Windows XP and the issue is resolved on another computer, but you continue to experience difficulties on your original computer, you may want to update or reinstall your Windows USB drivers and then try restoring iPhone or iPod touch again.

Upgrading from 2003 access database to 2007

I would leave your database as Access 2003. the 2007 version has many bugs and will give you many more problems than its worth. Access 2003 is very stable, you should be able to keep it at that for many years.
