You only need change psp cpu speed when you play some homebrews games/apps that's need adjust to low speed. if you set as "default" your psp will run as full speed, this speed are used for newer games and high firmware... depending what you play... when you set as low speed you will get slowdown, freeze, when loading data and process of the system.

Pandora battery or Despertar del Cementerio v7 is PSP Homebrew apps by Dark_Alex also known as based of universal PSPutility for Unbricker ( Fix PSP system software err - os), Downgrader/Upgrader (install custom firmware such as M33, OE, SE), work for both psp Fat and Slim (not for new slim and lite or psp300x).

On thelatest update is DC7, The latest build & greatest in DC7 is includes aidstorage tools for regeneration of PSP ID keys,.. even if it iscorrupt!!!

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER.

Psp menu problem

Ok, your psp CPU clock speed is set to low speed.. 2 way to change:

1. If your psp has VSH menu enable.. : press "select" button, a small window will appear, otherwise its set to "disable".. See at "CPU CLOCK XMB" must set as "default". use left-right d-pad to change it. if vsh menu is disable you can try 2nd way.

2. Boot PSP under Recovery menu ( Hold R-trigger when turn on your psp ).. under M33 menu select "CPU Speed" then press "X", select "Speed in XMB" and "Speed in UMD" to setting as "Default" by pressing "X" button a few times.

Hopefully this help.! Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER.

Ok...this sounds crazy but it happened to one of my PSPs. I updated the firmware on my system and the menu started stalling and taking a long time to respond. I shut the PSP all the way down....holding the power button until the light shuts off (about 4 or 5 seconds)...Hold the R button and power the system on again (you should be in recovery mode)...go to CPU speed and make sure it is either set at "Default" or "222"....I belive 222 is the default setting....also make sure the UMD is also set at "Default" or 222....if you're going to use the UMD.
