Changed top thermostat 11060832990 and now pops breaker

Sounds like incorrect wiring, like you have a "hot" wire going to the chassis somewhere. I'd double/triple check the connections. If you only pulled off the 2 thermostat wires, and reconnected them directly back, then it's unlikely that's the problem, but if you disconnected the thermal fuse or other connectors along the way, it sounds like something is hooked back up wrong. Good luck!

I wired my timer switch wrong i need to know which colors go where

The fuse is located on the heater housing we4x800 is the part number on most of these. Look closely at the wires on the timer each one has a letter on it the letters on the wire matches the terminal markings.

My dryer wont start at all...

Did you check the door switch. If it is open (not making contact) the machine will not run. Could be the motor start/run switch which could be stuck with lint (clean it) or worn out ( replace the motor).

Changed high temp thermostats, maybe hooked wires back up wrong?

you should have a wiring schematic diagram somewhere on the machine otherwise the limit switches are normally wired in series w/element

Just hooked up outlet. Dryer tumbles, wont heat. Have I wired the outlet wrong?

Hi, Did you put red and black wire to the outer posts? White wire ti center and green to ground screw on cabinet? Dry will run on 120V but needs 240V for heat. Make sure there is 240V to the outlet as well.
Hope this helps. If so, please feel free to rate my answer so that I know how I am doing.

Changed from 3 prong to 4 prong wont run

You wired the plug wrong so that you just shorted out the dryer with 220 volts going where the ground should have been.

Unless you supply more details, as to how you wired the prongs, can't be more specific, but before you even try to use the receptacle to the house wiring, you should get a certified electrician to look at it or you could burn down your house, which is a bit more damage than your fried dryer.

Sorry for the bad news, but the Good News is that you are still alive.

Ge electric dryer light blew out and now the dryer wont turn on

Apparently you had a short on the case. I'd look at that cord again. 3-wire is Black on right, Red on left, Green in center.
