You really need to check your video connections. It sounds like you have the sound cables connected properly, but not the video cables. Are you using the component connection (blue, green, red, white, red) or RCA (yellow, white, red)?? Make sure the color coded ends are plugged into the right places. If you've done this then your display is shot and you'll need to get your warranty paperwork out or call a local repair shop. Good luck!!

I think you may have dry solder joints on the line output stage. If the solder joints are checked and found to be good then suspect a component on the line output stage or the line output transformer itself. If you can check these faults for yourself start with the solder joints otherwise find a competant technician. Hope this helps.

LG PLASMA TV WITH COLOURED LINES OVER SCREEN

If the Video (Picture/Pix) is gone but you can hear the Audio (sound), then it could mean the YSUS PCB Assembly is gone/kaput/finish. Can replace the PCB, not repair the PCB due to timing circuitry involve. Cost maybe roughly $500 depending where you located. The PCB is located on the left hand side of your TV when you are facing the back (Back open). Might find 3-4 brown flex membrane connecting to the plasma panel. The PCB has a silver or black aluminum heatsink (big) on it.
Good Luck.
