You haven't indicated the model number so I'm going to guess its is an SGS or SGV model. The problem with these models and the fault you describe is the pressure chamber or hose (pressure chamber to sump) is blocked and the microswitch is being activated because the water is not entering the tank quick enough. Isolate from electric, remove lid and left panel (looking from the front). There is a plastic chamber bottom right of left side with two microswitches, either this is blocked or the hose that runs from it to the right and along the back of the kick panel and into the sump. Clear either or both (make sure all hoses are pushed true when repositioning). This should sort the problem. If the pressure chamber is excessively blocked it will probably need replacing. Costs approx 25pound direct from Bosch service division (BSH Home Appliance Ltd). Best of luck
Bosch dishwashers typically have flood sensors in the bottom, below the motor. If there is still water in the pan the machine will not fill with water and only try to run the drain pump. Be sure there is no water in the dishwasher pan
cheak the filter witch is at the intake and if when it is going to fill does it buzz if dose that means the vale is working if not call a repaire man out hope this helps
Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.
Turns out that the dishwasher had a leak in the bottom. No water could be seen leaking out because Bosch machines have a cut-off valve that means if a tray in the bottom of the machine fills up with water, the float valve doesn't allow anymore water into the machine. we worked this out after we tipped the machine slightly, water ran out, when we put it back down and started it the inlet valve worked until the bottom had filled with water again.
New machine for us! However, not a critism of Bosch. We use our machine at least two or three times a day and have done for the last 5 years.
You have a leak underneath and it is switching the anti flood switch on. Tip the dish washer back at a 45 deg angle, you will probably get water teak out the back, stand it back upright and try it. although it will probably work you will need to look underneath and find where the leak is coming from, my guess is its the wash pump and will cost around 100 pound for an engineer to repair.
