Hi,
I would like to have the date printed onto my pictures. I have followed the manual that came with my FinePix E510 digital camera, but it isn't working. When I take my x-d picture card somewhere to print the pictures the date doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong?

The easiest way is to ask the photofinisher if they offer date printing on digital prints. The date information exists in the file of the image. Fuji Frontier digital print labs have this option with one click of a mouse. They may not want to offer it, it's up to them. Find a lab that will, and at no extra cost to you. It costs them nothing. I offer it to my customers, on my Fuji lab.

You can try the freeware jdatestamp.
http://jdatestamp.sourceforge.net/
It grabs the date from the exif and it lossless Please follow the instructions below to add information to your digital image's data file such as copyright, comments or to change the date and time. This information will be visible when printed.
1) Open FinePix Viewer
2) Locate the image and right click on it
3) Left click on "Batch Process"
4) Click on "Edit Date & Time / Comment ..."
5) In the Edit Date & Time / Comment window, select an available option.
6) The gray boxes will change to white allowing you to type in a comment or copyright.
Note: There are two options to change the Date & Time
