Question about Saeco Caffe Charisma Espresso Machine
I have had this problem and fixed it by replacing the Thermal Fuse inside the unit that is inside of a blue tube against the the heating element.
The only thing is the fuse is not a typical fuse with the ability to just remove and replace. The old fuse has to be removed and new one re crimped. Not a difficult chore if your good with tools.
There are schematics showing the location of the fuse and the fuse itself is readily available at an electronic store that sells components like resistors, capacitors, etc. (radio shack, doesnt carry it...if i remember right) You can find online as well. I wish i had the part number and specs of the fuse handy, but do not. You will get the correct numbers once your remove the old one. GL

Me too! SAme problem. The unit was taken apart and when checked with a meter there was power internally but when put back together there still was no sign of action, no lights and it just appears dead.
