Question about Dell Latitude C640 Notebook
I just replaced the screen on my laptop. Now when I hook it up to charge the battery, the battery charger seems to overload and the green light shuts off. With the power I have left in the battery, the computer is working with no problem. As far as I can tell the only problem is that the charger is short circuiting, but I can't find why. Any ideas?
You might want to try another AC adapter. If it works, then call up Dell and have replacement on the AC adapter. Otherwise, call up Dell and have them check your motherboard. If the warranty is still active, then can still definitely replace that.
