Question about Brother DCP 130C All-In-One InkJet Printer
Christine, most printers, whether they just print or if the also have other functions, come with maintainance software that is installed along with the software needed for printing. I would first go to the start button, then to programs. Locate the printer program that you have, if there is an arrow to the right of your printer model, that means that there are other functions that you can perform from that program other than just printing. Point the mouse to the arrow, a small menu should come up , look for either "toolbox" or maybe "printer maintainance" , something to that effect. All printers and their software are similar but determining the exact operation of yours is impossible without knowing the make and model that you have. If you can find this maintainance option, I would try that first. If you can first try the cleaning option, and if that runs, you should also have an option to print a test page .If you are still having difficulty, either check the printer manual, or if you do not have the manual, you could look up the manufacturer online and go to their support section. They normally have a section to type in a question.

Hi Alan I think it is the cartridge that is causing your issue but I cant promise that it is.I can tell you from many years experience it very rarely is an issue with the printer breaking it is 99% of the time inferior consumables causing printers to fail, and sometimes wrecking printers so even when the customer does use good consumables it is too late and the damage is done, but we can't be sure of anything unless we start with basics and get 100% brand new Original Equipment Manufacturers carts (OEM) and stick them in. (no I don't work for Lexmark;)
