Question about SanDisk Sansa c250 (2 GB) MP3 Player (SDMX7-2048)

Can't load books

I download books to Windows Media Player and was under the impression my Sansa Express c250 would allow me to load them. But I have not been able to make it work. If I use the software that came with the Sansa, it comes up with errors. If I drag the file from WMP to the Sansa, it looks like it is copying, but they are not there. Help??

Sir be sure that your device is compatible with any other files or can accept with wma or wav something like that. look at the mp3 player manual for the exact compatibility of file. if you want to add a music from your pc with other music types then it should be converted to mp3 which is compatible on your device. try this one audio converter and see if it works. if still cant add a music to your player then it should be formated because as of my experience about mp3's many virus are absorbing with an mp3. i really want to help you with this because i have my own mp3 player and i dont have any problem with it. let me know if you want something. hope that helps!

Able to play MP3, WMA, WAV, and protected WMA DRM music files, and supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, and GIF as import media types
Sorry but your player can not play books. If you can you may want to return it and purchase one that can. If you still need any assistance let me know. Please take a moment to accept and rate my solution accordingly.
Thanks,
Lee

Transfer WMA files to Sansa c250

There two types of WMA file - protected and unprotected (also called "DRM-free" and "DRM-encrypted"). Some protected or encrypted WMA's may allow you to play back on your computer, but will not allow you to play those same files on an mp3 player. There are only two ways around your problem - one is expesnive, and one is illegal:
1) You can purchase additional rights on Overdrive to transfer your audiobooks to a "portable device" (by which, they include mp3 players).
2) You can download a program such as Tunebite to strip the Overdrive of it's DRM license, rendering the file of its protection (I would NOT reccomend this route).

The WMA files that you had that worked before were either unprotected, or were protected but had transfer rights.

ive had this same problemo. you cant use the media converter to drag and drop songs. you have to download your songs or rip them onto windows media player. you plug in the sansa and then when its recognized there will be an area on the right hand side where you drag the songs and they appear on sansa.
