if problem persists then you have upgrade the firmware ...
you can upgrade firmware if you just have the normal data cable.. first you need to download the nokia software updater from the nokia site given below is the site:
http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163
after downloading just run the program and then it will guide you to upgrade the firmware you need to have the internet connection and remember one more thing you must not remove the battery or turn off the phone or pc while the updation process is going on, if you do so it will permanently damage your cell phone .. first backup all your data and then proceed to upgrade the firmware ..
OR: formatting is best for ur mobile momery card bcoz when you delete something that is not erased thoroughly. it can be experienced by using tuneup utilities in computers. so formatting is necessary, so use these steps *#7370# for reset settings *#7780# for soft formatting if you want complete format turn off phone, charge fully. then press green button, * button, no. 3 button, lastly I/O(power)button simultaneously. your phone will be formatted in 3 mins approx. Enter Default lock code is 12345. Regards
I think the memory card is full , try first taking off the battery and putting it back. If the camera still does not work, try a different memory card.
If you still have problems, try going to setting menu and reset camera settings.
1) Download attached file to your PC 2) Connect MP3 Player to PC with USB cable 3) Excute Recovery Utility (See Instruction Guide) 4) Excute Firmware upgrade Regards
Make sure you have the correct card for the camera you have. This camera Kodak Easyshare P850 requires the following memory card. MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital (SD) Card.
Since this camera is a few years old 5.1 mpxl, it may have a limit on the size of cd card you can use. If you are using a large card, go to a smaller card and see what happens, for instance a 512 meg. card. This camera may have an upgrade for the firmware, and may make it work better. You have to check the Kodak site for such upgrades and info on how to install the upgrade to the firmware. If upgrades for the firmware is available, it will improve some of the features on the camera. Always worth the time to check.
The firmware download utility program comes on the CD supplied with the printer. Use this to download the firmware file to the printer. Check on the zebra website for the latest firmware file. (You should be able to download the Download utility program from the website also. (Steady red may indicate that the printer is set to the incorrect operating mode. Check that you have the correct setting in your printer driver - Thermal Transfer if you use a ribbon, Direct Thermal if not) Easiest way to check is to insert a ribbon and see if printer works)
Instead of using Roxio, which is problematic anyway (it's just part of the manufacturers bundle that comes with some new pcs and it doesn't always work correctly, it seems to cause conflicts with the system's own copy utilities - I always uninstall it) ------- just use your system's burn/copy utilities.
im having the same problem with this drive and samsung has not helped at all. i cant even upgrade the firmware because the automatic upgrade program that upgrades the firmware comes up with a warning window right off the start, but the window is the wrong size for the text and you cant quite see the OK button or click on it to continue. just a reflection of samsung quality. nothing but garbage. to me samsung is just a big scam. once they have your money, thats it , 0 support. oh well you got me again samsung, my fault. ill just throw this drive on the pile of samsung.
word on HP tech support. The first rule of hp tech support is if they can't fix problem is to keep customer on line for at least an hr or until customer gets so worn out tht he/she hangs up. My first C5280 and HP's replacement both had problem. SO I call tech support to hopefully get a third C5280 that works. The technician would ask a simple question, I'd give him the answer then he would say " OK very good I gotta check this: and I'd be put on hold for 10 minutes, then he would come back and ask me another unrelated question, then go away for 10 minutes..... after an hr I hung up. I'll just take the C5280 with it non working "CD-DVD" printing feature back to Best -Buy.
So, might I suggest you next check to see if there is a 'firmware' update for your product. Firmware is the software that exists within the printer, and is not the software that you install to your computer.
The two type of software work together, so if you have been unlucky so far I suggest:
1. Like I said, determine what level of firmware you have on your printer, there may be instructions within your manual. Update this with any new firmware listed on the HP support site.
2. Download NEW driver AND software from HP support site, being careful to first remove all software supplied on the original CD. Software updates exist for a reason, and it is good practice to always obtain the newest versions from a devices' manufacturer, rather than using the 'outdated' supplied CD.
With these two new froms of software in effect, I imagine you stand a better chance of success.
If customers do not feel comfortable upgrading the DiMAGE 7 firmware themselves, they can send the camera in to the NJ repair facility with a note stating "Please Upgrade Firmware". Their camera will be upgraded, and they will be charged $49.95 (plus tax and shipping). They will receive back their upgraded camera, and a DiMAGE Viewer Ver 1.2 Upgrade CD-Rom*. (They will not receive the firmware upgrade on CD-Rom or the new DiMAGE Viewer) There is a 2-3 week turn around time once payment has been authorized.
* images captured with an upgraded camera cannot be opened using previous versions of the DiMAGE Image Viewer Utility 1.11 or earlier. A DiMAGE Viewer Ver 1.2 upgrade CD-rom has been bundled with the DiMAGE 7 Optional Enhancement UPGRADE Firmware. The previous version of DiMAGE Image Viewer Utility must be installed before the DiMAGE Viewer (Ver 1.2) update can be loaded.
If customers do not feel comfortable upgrading the DiMAGE 7 firmware themselves, but they want the DiMAGE 7 Optional Enhancement UPGRADE and the New DiMAGE Viewer 2.0, they should purchase the kit through our on-line store, then send the camera in to the NJ repair facility with the Firmware UPGRADE CD-Rom that they purchased. As long as the firmware CD-Rom is sent with the camera, and the camera does not show damage that may void the warranty or cause the firmware to not install properly, there will be no charge for the camera to be upgraded. There is a 2-3 week turn around time once the camera has be received.
If customers attempt to install the firmware upgrade on their camera and experience a problem, or the upgrade does not complete, they should send the camera in to our NJ repair facility with the Firmware UPGRADE CD-Rom and a description of the problem. As long as the firmware CD-Rom is sent with the camera, and the camera does not show damage that may void the warranty or cause the firmware to not install properly, there will be no charge for the camera to be upgraded. There is a 2-3 week turn around time once the camera has be received.
