Here are some things to try. I'll be the part about the radiator in back is what your main issue is:
If the case is cracked or there is a leaking door seal this will allow moist air from outside the unit to come in and release its moisture. Cracks are easy to see. You can also inspect the seals fairly easily.
IF YOU TRY ANY OF THIS PLEASE UNPLUG YOUR UNIT AND TURN THE WATER SUPPLY OFF FIRST. thank you.
Freezers/fridges remove moisture from the air inside them while they work. At least in my unit the fridge and freezer compartments are connected by a couple little trap doors. One near the top works automatically. I assume it regulates the temp of the fridge part by using freezer air. The other is vented into the meat drawer at the bottom.
Moisture flows to the coldest part of the inside, much like humid air settles droplets on the outside of a cold glass in the summer. The coldest part is the coil assembly which would be behind a panel at the back of most freezers. Below this assembly and hopefully not covered by a panel is a drain hole. It needs to be clear for things to work properly. See if you can find it in the back bottom of the freezer.
If there is ice plugging it you need to clear it. Don't pick at it because the inside of a freezer doesn't like scratches and scrapes. Those create opportunities for rust if the unit lasts long enough. Put a few towels in the bottom of the freezer to catch overflow. Then pour the hottest tap water you can get slowly over the ice. Once it is clear the drain lets the water go into a pan underneath the unit and eventually evaporates. You will hear it when it clears.
Under normal operations this drain collects the water that freezes all over the cooling coils in the very back of the freezer. It is normally very little water. If it is blocked by ice this can point to a slightly bigger problem. You may want to see if you can remove the back panel of the freezer and check the coils for ice. This can a)take a while and b)have you removing a lot of assemblies just to get to one panel screw. So be prepared and don't start it when you have a freezer full of food. If you attempt it and find white fluffy looking ice all over your coils you will need to look below this stuff for an assembly that houses a heater. Mine looked like a long thin tube bulb, much like a halogen lamp. It's called the heater element and replacing it may just fix your problem. I got mine for about $50.
You might also want to make sure your fan and radiator assembly are clean. Inspect the air venting grill on the back. If that is gunked up or you can see that the radiator inside is gunked up, you should carefully remove the panel and vacuum as much as you can. This was a major problem for me because at one time because of indoor pets. If checked regularly it doesn't become an issue.
Anyhow, this is a lot of info, but I had to learn all this the hard way. Hopefully it will save you and others a headache.

Sub-zero refer.611/s is working fine but the freezer compressor has been running 24/7 for the last 2 weeks. Sometimes the freezer drops from it's setting of zero to 16-. Coils are clean and fan works.

I think it isn't fine because if a fridge/freezer that is otherwise healthy runs continuously (due to a thermostat fault), it would be colder than you could imagine with lower than arctic temperatures in the freezer compartment, minus 30-40 C for example.

The conclusion must be your fridge isn't fine.
Proper freezer temperature, incidentally, is minus 25-27 C for food to have a reasonable lifespan with minimal deterioration. There is no benefit from being colder but significantly warmer would mean the freezer contents should be replaced much more often - the freezer compartment of an old fashioned fridge (about minus 5) was reckoned to give fish, meat and dairy up to one month safe lifespan.

A fridge that runs continuously (where the thermostat is good) could have a refrigerant loss resulting in a huge drop in efficiency, the insulation could be failing, the compressor could be failing or the de-icing panel could be permanently switched on - or any combination of these things.

I note you say the coils are clean. If the refrigeration system is good with the compressor running continuously the coils will be hand-hot.

I made chicken broth last night and didn't let it cool properly before putting the broth in the refrigerator. About 7 hours later when I woke up this morning, the refrigerator was hot and most of the...

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp. The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.

Panel between fridge and freezer hot on Kenmore fridge

It is normal for that panel to get warm while the fridge is running. There is a hot gas tube from the compressor running through it to prevent frost built up. If it's feeling a little too hot try cleaning the coils under the fridge. This will allow the gasses to cool a little more efficiently thus allowing the fridge to cool quicker.

Refrigerator stopped working, freezer works fine

Sounds like the evap fan is not running. The fan takes cold air from the freezer to cool the refer compartment. If the freezer is cold the compressor is running. Generally the freezer will stay cold since the cooling coils are there but it must have the fan working to get the air up to the refer area. Pull everything out the freezer and take the back panel off to view the coils and fan, etc. It's a simple easy job to change the fan. If you find the coils are a total block of ice then it's another problem... the defrost cycle isn't working. Sooo... see if the fan is running in the freezer compartment first. See http://www.partselect.com/Schematics/Maytag/AA43-57.gif for fan location, item 18 is the fan motor. Let us know what you find out.

Freezer works, fan works, fridge side not getting cold

Whip, make sure the condensor fan is running in back. It should be running anytime the compressor is running. Check to see if you have a buildup of frost on the back of the freezer panel, this could indicate a defrost issue. This refer is controlled by one main mother board in back. Check these things first and post back. You may have to do some tests on the board...Catriver..post back.

Freezer does not cool while the fridge is up and running. what is the problem?

Neither the freezer or refer sections are cooling? Can you hear if the compressor is running (black soccer ball sized unit underneath)? Could be "stuck" in the defrost cycle (happens a lot).
