We have an old Goodmans TV - sky box and dvd player. Sky is working ok but cannot pick up the DVD player on the TV. I seem to not have connected the DVD to the TV correctly? Do I need an RF cable from the DVD to TV? Problem is no sockets left in TV as the scart plug goes from TV into Sky and aeriel lead from TV into sky - no other sockets left???

You might need one or both of:
RF modulator.
AV switch (perhaps from an old video game console)
The modulator accepts the RCA plugs from your DVD player (yellow, white, red) and outputs an RF signal.
You can then plug the ouput of the modulator into the aerial input of the skybox, via the switch, if desired.

thats great thanks. Sorry for my ignorance but what is an AV switch? Where can I get one? The modulator presumably is a lead with the yellow white and red plugs one end and an aerial type plug at the other end? Is that right?
Thanks
I have a CH DVD 300. Works find on HDTV. But could not get it working on RCA TV. I have Y/R/W 3 RCA plugs connecting both DVD and RCA TV. I get only audio and not the Video Signal. I have used different cables and no luck
