Hello, moving the pictures from the photo frame to your laptop shouldn't be too difficult. First, we'll need to know what kind of laptop you have (make/model) and what kind of photo-frame you have. These two pieces of information will help us determine how your photo frame stores the pictures, and the best way to get them to your laptop.
The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
First, make sure you have followed the setup instructions EXACTLY, printer should work fine. To test, make sure the power to the printer is on and there is paper in it. Open a picture, by default there will be some saved on windows - click "start" (windows logo @ the bottom left corner of the screen) on the start menu, click "pictures" (or "my pictures depending on which version of windows you are using) a window will open with some photos in it. Double click any picture and another will open with the picture in it. Now click "Print" (or the printer icon if you are using windows xp) another window will open. (If you are using windows xp, there will be an option marked "which printer do you want to use" make sure it says "lexmark x7000 series" and click next) on the right of this window will be a list of how you would like the photo printed, click "full page" then click "Print" If a photo appears - then all is well! Hope this helps.
Print Photos
This idea may seem like a
no brainer, but I am not justtalking about printing out images from the
web. I am not even talking aboutprinting out a photo from your family
vacation. What I am talking about isusing your printer to print photos
that look like you just had them developedprofessionally. With some
high quality glossy photo paper, photo quality inkcartridges and a bit
of editing skills, you can print all of your favoritephotos with ease
without needing any professional help. And the beauty of itis, most
people use digital cameras these days rather than traditional 35
mmfilm, so the transfer is easy. You can even plug your camera directly
into someprinter models and print photos right off of the camera.
What program are you using to print the pictures? In order for picture to print properly, you must go into the printer properties and tell the printer to fit to one page. Most pictures are larger that 8 1/2" x 11" or 4" x 6" so you must tell it what size the print is and to limit the print to one page, usually by telling the printer to fit to one page or by using scaling. Let me know if you need further help and also please include the program and printer information.
