GE 19" TV/VCR combo

When power button is engaged, the little green light comes on, flashes, then goes out. TV or VCR will not come on. Help! Tape is in VCR and I can't get it out. Is this worth fixing?-dazman

ApprenticeQuite often the mode switch gets dirty or in worn out,
and that is what causes the problem.
You will have to get inside the unit and manually unload the cassette.
