I am sure that this would help out in a temporary situation but when you are in for a longer drive it can result in a breakdown which you must be prepared of with consequences.
Superglue or cement can temporarily seal off leaks but over a time with heat and vibration this can fail. Hence I would recommend that based on the leak , you need to make sure that a proper seal is done even with an externalmetal plugging after a metal paste seal is done which could help out the case.

My daughter's 2002 jeep liberty is leaking water from the engine. It appears to be coming from what looks like a drain in the engine. I can't find any reference for this drain-looking tube in the...

Well, it all sort-of depends on what tube you are talking about and what kind of water is coming out of it. If you are seeing plain, clear water coming out of a tube that is located on the right (passenger) side of the vehicle on or near the firewall, then YES, water is supposed to be coming out of it when she is running her air conditioner. This would be the drain tube for the air conditioner that lets the water drain under the vehicle so it does not fill the cabin up with water.
If it is not plain water, like antifreeze (GREEN or PINK), then, NO, this should not be happening and you should get it checked immediately.

Engine coolant leaked out. when i was driving i smelled the buring of engine coolant then saw the smoke from my hood. so i pulled in to a gas station turned my truck off got out then saw a huge puddle of...

Check to see if the water is coming from the center of the front of the engine or if it is coming from one of the sides of the front of the engine. If it is from the side it is probably a busted hose and cheap and easy to fix. If it is coming from the center, locate the water pump and look at it from the underside there is a weep hole there and if it is leaking from that hole the water pump needs to be replaced.

Steam from antifreeze coming from right side of engin

I would check the hoses in that area. It maybe the the water pump bearing shaft seal. There is usually a small drain hole towards the bottom of the pump, that will leak anti-freeze when the seal goes bad. With an inspection mirror, you may be able to see if anti-freeze is leaking from the pump.

Unsolved Problem!

Have you looked at the gas or gas tank. It could be full of water. Your specific pump could be sitting up high where the gas water line settles after a period of time. Try some dry gas and run the tank out.

How to change the Belt Tensioner on a 1994 ford escort wagon.

On the right hand side of the engine find bolt in the center of the tensioner arm, this is the only bolt that holds it in place. Look directly across from this bolt and you will see a hose, the power steering resivoir hose is clamped here with a 10mm bolt, remove this bolt. Remove tensioner bolt and lift hose up to get the bolt out. When installing new tensioner, locate small round hole in tensioner mount on the engine, insert small pin on back side of the tensioner arm in this hole, then insert bolt and tighten, install the hise clamp bolt, and belt. Hope this helps, let me know.
