I only had my LG Shine for 3 days and the LCD broke. LetsTalk refused to exchange it. I ended up having to buy a new phone.

I've had the phone for less than two weeks , and the screen has broken with crack marks at the bottom of the screen - I didn't drop it, sit on it or anything like that

I did not drop my phone or anything, just pulled it out of my purse and wouldnt ya know it, a huge crack crossed lCD the screen. I used my phone until the screen turned completely black. I tried to get it fixed through AT&T but its much too expensive.I think I will go with a local cell repair place. It should run about 70 dollars.I guess its cheaper to fix then replace (with AT&T anyway).

My lg shine's LCD screen cracked to. I guess it's because since you have the slider, the screen is more vulnerable. But with the flip, the screen is protected when closed. SO YAH.

I have seen lots of LCD Screens cracked or broken on an LG Shine. A replacement screen can be bought for around $20 from Ebay. And the process of replacing it yourself if rather simple. All you need are a small philips screwdriver and a plastic tab (guitar pick) or a fingernail.

Here are two links that will help you out. The first is a guide that will show you step by step how it's done. And the second is a good link for buying replacement LCD Screens to replace your broken one.

Replaced the screen but there is no image coming up, just a lit up black screen.

if you could see any image from the broken lcd before changing it so your new lcd is not working or no installed right
and if not you may try the cable or the hard shock that broke your lcd effected the main board
