I can play cds in windows media player but i cannot burn to cd it comes up with error message C00D119F , how can i repair this

You need to be sure that your cd drive is also a cd burner. If it is then the problem might be fixed by any of the following: 1. Clean your disk that you are writing to or try a different one. 2. Use a cleaning CD to clean your drive. 3. Close any other programs that might be using your drive, song, or windows media player. 4. Restart Windows Media Player. 5. Restart your computer. 6. Try a different brand of cd to write to. 7. Choose a slower writing speed. Please rate my post if it was helpful! Best of luck to you.

Why won't my cd Player won't recognize the disc

Hi.

If this happens with a single disk, then the problem is the disk. If the player does not recognise any disk, then it is either a lens problem or a faulty drive. Please get back to me to know more.

Regards.

Ginko.

I want to burn Windows Media Audio/Video file to a cd so i could play it to a cd player

put a blank cd in your drive and make a playlist in window media player and open the copy to cd dialog and copy your contents. You can also go for 'nero' for the same purpose which is more easy and better.

I have a dell optiplex755 and i have created a playlist in windows media and when i try to burn a disk it tells me to connect a burner and restart. i have not tried to burn a disk before on this computer...

Look closely right at the front of the CD drive - does it say CD ROM or CD/RW? Or possibly DVD ROM or DVD/RW?
If you have a drive that says "ROM" on the front, it's not a burner.
If your drive does say "RW" then it may not be enabled. Go to My Computer (or Computer, depending on if you have Vista or 7) and right click on the CD drive. Choose properties, and look through the tabs to make sure that drive is enabled for recording.

Hope this helps! If so, please leave a rating!

I got a Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard CD and trying to

check the CD for defects, or dust, there are commercially available kits for repairing scratched, or damaged disks, as long as the " silver " looking portion of the disk is intact.

You may be able to download the software directly from Adobe and install it using your installation code.

My cmputer donot play dvd

Windows XP does not play DVD's by itself you need

1) a DVD ROM (or RW) drive, and
2) DVD playing software.

Usually the Drive, or your PC will come with something like PowerDVD or some program like that.

Windows Vista and newer will play DVD's natively.

Some videos play some doesnt ?

Use a different media player. If it if purely watching videos, I would go something like VLC player. It plays (at least with what I have seen) everything. It is also free, loads faster then WMP, and simple.

Mind you this will not play Real Player videos. You can get a addon to WMP called Real Alternative to do that though.

Windows Media Player not responding

go to microsoft.com and download the set up for your version of media player. Uninstall the one you have now and then reinstall from the set up you have downloaded. I would also recomend you down load the k-lite codec pack to beef up your WMP install.....goodluck.
