All of a sudden my printer just started printing in blue
I refilled my ink cartridges and they were working fine for about a month but all of a sudden my printer only wants to print in blue. i performed a nozzle check and it prints perfect. I print using photo shop and word 2007 and it does the same for both. I checked the printer settings and they were fine I even set it up to print only with the black cartridge but I get a message stating that it will only use the color cartridge or else just to cancel the printing and try again.
please let me know what i can do to fix this because its driving me crazy.

a refilled cartridge IN NO WAY can lead to printer failure the ink is the last thing on printer and has no effect to mechanical failures. check here how you can refill your cartridge http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II9gpIXs_lE
I managed to successfully refill the black cartridge for the S305; I did it when the printer warned of 'very low black ink' (although it didn't print very well - i.e. grey - until the following day). It kept displaying 'low ink' but printed fine for a few months. I think if you can catch it before the printer decides it needs an 'official' refill or replacement then it works (although when exactly this is is a mystery, as it always displays 'low' for black ink). Yesterday, the printer decided it wouldn't print until the cartridge was changed. Refilled; waited for half a day;replaced several times; turned the printer on and off 5 times with no cartridge in (to see if it would wipe the printer's memory of the cartridge); and spent about 4 hours online trying to find a solution. If it starts working tomorrow, I'll let you know. I don't want to mess about with software that may reset the ink levels. (If anyone finds some that works, please post!) It looks like Lexmark have ensured they can pile in the cash with their original cartridges. I've heard about generic cartridges that are chipped to avoid the above problem - I'll visit my local refill store soon. There must be a way round this! Cheers, Fronter
Try reinstalling the printer, as it sounds like a driver problem. This shouldn't happen, but occasionally the drivers get corrupted. And refilled cartridges certainly don't help, and may continue to give trouble even when replaced with OEM ones. Have you tried turning the printer completely off - disconnecting the power lead, for a few minutes? That sometimes clears things.
u just have to replace the refilled cartridges.and insert new orignal cartridges.this is a very common problem in epson printers that refilled cartridges work sometimes and sometimes dont.so insert new orignal cartridges to have good printouts.
in most of the cases the refill will work for a few times then will not work one reason is because the ink gets dry inside the cartridge and second the contacts does not work when you uses that several times and the third the ink is not compatible with the printer no matter if that say for that kind of printer so if you wants to get that right get the new cartridge and end of the problem
