Hi. I've had my InFocus LP500 projector for about nine years. Twice its power supply has been replaced (usage) but never its lamp. The projector has been used regularly, handled with care and cleaned from...

i was thinking of a different model, but I'll be honest, if you are sure your lamp is good and ALL of the fans are on, then it probably is the power supply acting up again.

Wont light up

the colorwheel needs replacing. if the colorwheel won't spin, the lamp won't light. if you hear a high-pitched whir, the colorwheel works, which means there is a power supply issue. there is a fix for that, but you have to be good at soldering. if you are give it a try: http://www.infocus.com/service/asc/communications/tech_notes/2006/09/tn495g.pdf
