Question about Refrigerators
I accidentally left the door to the fridge open yesterday and now today the fridge is making a weird sound. It sounds like its moaning. The freezer is still freezing, but the fridge is not that cold, though I think it's still working. The sound seems to be coming from inside or behind the freezer. It will make the noise for about 3 seconds, then quiet for three seconds, then start again.
I bought the fridge in 2004 and have never had problems. Thoughts? Who should I call? I can't seem to find a Haier repair center in NYC.
Hi. thanks for the question. leaving the door open ,would let a lot of moisture to enter the freezer, and cause it to frost up. to clear frost. cut power to fridge, open the doors .,let thaw over nite clean up the water mess. dry the inside of fridge & freezer turn power on good to go. to stop the door from being left open .lift the legs under the front so the fridge has more weight, and it will close by self . no more doors left open. thanks the appliance doc
