Power off the computer, take out the adapter. move it to a different PCI slot, then restart.

If that does not work:
Uninstall the Belkin driver,
Power off unit . remove adapter.
Power on and install the drivers.
Power off once more and reinstall the card.
Restart and it should work.

Well, I would recommend you to install the version 2 of the driver that can be downloaded from the below link:

I believe this would help resolve the issue.

Have you got two wireless icons down on the right by the clock. As it may be using the belkin wireless manager to control the device rather than the windows version.

Hi, My Wireless adapter -Belkin 802.11b is stopped working all of a sudden. There used to be a green light on the adapter when it is plugged in to my laptop, now there is no light. My Dell Latitude...

First check whether the adapter is working or not?
In the device manager you are able to detect the adapter, that is a good sign.
When you go to the adapters properties, does it say working properly,
If it is , then you just need to connect to the wireless network and the light will lit up

Vista Premium wireless network callapse

Go into device manager, under control panel, go into network adapters, select your wireless adapter, right click on it, click uninstall, if you're with vista, it'll prompt you to delete the drivers, just leave that box unchecked then click ok. After the adapter is gone, click on action on device manager then click scan for hardware changes. The wifi adapter should be re installed. after you check that the wifi adapter is back on the list, you can exit device manager. Click start, connect to, try to reconnect to your router and it should work fine. After you have established internet connection and you can browse, you can download tthe Skype program again.

Hope this helps

Drivers won't install

Two possibilites here
1. the driver CD is corrupt , though belkin is a plug n play adapter, there is no need to install the cd
2. Since you getting an excalmation suggests , windows recoganises the new hardware but fails to install.
The best option is either change the manufacturer of the adapter or reinstall windows , it should fix your problem

Belkin G+ Mimo USB adapter help!!

Make sure it is not in the windows START UP folder so that it will not use the belkin configuration. Check that software tool's prefrences by selecting 'use windows wireless configuration' as well, from within the windows wireless configuration tool icon on the systemtray, you have that option to 'always use windows'

To enter the services to set the wireless zero configuration cick on the start menu then on RUN and type services.msc and click ok - now look for the wireless zero configuration and doubleclick on it. Change the setting to AUTOMATIC and if it is not already started, start this and click OK

In case you are unsure where the windows start up folder is found, click on the start menu then on ALL PROGRAMS and you should see START UP. You will find that wireless utility device which should be removed (right click and delete)

Wireless Adapter not working under Vista

Some device may not have Vista drivers or the drivers are still beta and they dont work always perfectly. Check which kind of wireless adapter is present on your laptop from device manager on XP. Then try downloading Vista drivers for your wireless adapter form wireless card factory website, and install them on Vista.
