Can you put linsky router on your laptop

NOT SURE IF i CAN PUT MY ROUTER ON LAPTOP OR PC

The picture of the device shows an adapter not a router, but in any case,you can put this on either a laptop or a desktop as long as you have a usb port available.

Is there any other computer on line.
If laptop is the only computer then connect the laptop to the router with the cable and check if that works.
If you have other computer on line then you will need to check if your laptop is connected to the wireless network.
You will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
If your network is secured then make sure that you are typing the correct network key.
also make sure that the DHCP server is enabled on the router.
is there any computer connected to the router ?
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
Router set up page is the page where you can check all the wireless settings of the router.

Looks like you may have WEP security on router and WAP on laptop - or vice versa. Change the laptop to match the router.

Make sure that the wifi switch is on in the laptop. Look for a sliding switch in the front or side panel of the laptop. Make sure that it is on.

This WEP key will be the same as you had put into your router. Go into your router like 'http://192.168.x.x' (check the manual of your router it will give you the default ip numbers of your router configuration page. On that configuration page you will find the WEP key. Basically you can also change it from within that page.
Or
If you have already changed the ip address of your router make sure you put instead of the one I mentioned.
