Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer
Yep, I remember you. Sorry to hear you're still battling with your washer. No...the CCU is directly behind the wash tub at the TOP of the washer. You will need to remove the top panel of the washer by removing the three screws in the rear. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then off. The CCU should stick out like a sore thumb once you get the panel removed. The circuit card you are describing at the moment is the Motor Control Unit (MCU). Let me know if you still need assistance.
