Display reads "press quick start or begin". When button is pressed, treadmill does not start.
If the console takes batteries, replace them. If this does not work or your console does not require batteries, check the reed switch or optic sensor. Reed Switch: Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The reed switch is mounted on the frame next to the front roller pulley. There is a magnet glued into the front roller pulley. When adjusting the reed switch, make sure it is pointing directly at the magnet. Move the tip of the reed switch within 1/8" of the magnet. Also, check to see that the wire is not damaged, and is connected to the console.
Optic Sensor: Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The optic disk and sensor are located either at the end of the motor or the right hand side of the front roller. The optic disk spins between two sensors on the optic switch. The disk must spin freely without touching either sensor. The sensors can be moved by loosening the adjustment bolt holding the switch to its bracket. The switch can then be slid. Center the disk.
Remember :The controller for console or display have circuit for magnetic swithc.
Did you fix it?
Please reply. Because if you did not . So the problem must be there in Display Board or Main Controller Board.Since this board control 90% of the functions of the treadmills.
sincerely.
It did fix it for a brief period. I started it up and it ran for about 0.1 of a mile then the display read "decreasing speed" and it was slow down and then stop completely. I got it to start again and it kept doing the same thing. Now the belt won't even start again. Thanks.
Well you must act now: please see the block diagram that i did for to show as people like you, for to instruct the main controller board has 90% of functions of the any treadmills.
Please do the next step: Watch this videos and make adjustments.

1 )Locate
the reset switch on the underside of the treadmill console. Usually
the button is large enough to trigger with a pencil eraser or Q-tip.
Plug the treadmill plug back into the wall. Use the Q-tip to press
the reset button. It may be necessary to hold the reset button down
for a few seconds. "CL11" will appear in the display of the
treadmill.
2
Press the reset button one more time with the Q-tip. "CL21" should appear on the screen. Press the enter key. The display will change again and show "CL22." Keep pressing the enter key until the numbers cycle through to the number "CL26." Press enter one more time. The letter E should appear on the display screen.
CLOCK. The display will read SET
TIME. Use the memory preset #s to
enter in the desired time, hours and minutes. The clock will then begin
from that time.
