Question about Epson Aculaser C1100 Printer
On the C1100 Cover B is the top cover, however B open error could be the Top, Front or Fuser cover as the microswitches are all interconnected. First check each cover for broken or missing actuators (these look like "fins" and operate the microswitches when the cover is closed). Next check the microswitches havent been dislodged and operate using a piece of stiff card. As a last resort the switches can be shorted out to fool the printer into thinking that the cover is closed (not recommended).

Cover "B" should be on the back of the printer. when you open the main back door at the bottom there is a little flap that will fall down, this is a sliht design flaw as you have to make sure that this is in an upright position before closing the main back door. from past experience its usualy hit and miss at getting it to work unfortunatly
hope this hepls
