How do you hard reset a hx2490

Thnak you so much this worked perfectly after my IPAQ suddenly decided that it had a password when it did not.

press & hold power, press & hold calender, press & hold mail, press & hold reset small hole at base of unit, screen will blank, device will now hard reset.

if you have WM2005 try this, press power, calendar and mail buttons while inserting the stylus. it will clean reset the WM2005 which cannot otherwise hard reset because of persistant memeory. you'll lost everything in filestore.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD AND NOW I CANT DO ANYTHING. WONT GO PASS THE PASSWORD SCREEN .WHAT DO I DO . DONT KNOW HOW RESET THIS (HP IPAQ 1955)

In spanish:

1. Presiona y mantenlos asi(presionados) los botones calendario y task
2. Mientras los tienes presionados utiliza el stylus el boton de reset durante unos dos segundos
3. Cuando la pantalla comience a desaparecer libera los dos primeros botones q te dije y despues retira el stylus del boton de reset.
4. Enchufa la pocket en el adaptador de CA o presiona el boton de reinicio otra vez.

Ahora q si lo q quieres es un reinicio limpio para dejarla x defecto de fabrica haz lo siguiente:

1. presiona y mantenlos asi los botones calendario,encendido y mensajeria
2. mientras los tienes presionados introduce el stylus en el boton de reset hasta q la maquina se reinicie
3. cuando la Ipaq se reinicie libera todos los botones y x ultimo retira el stylus, entonces
ella sola se reiniciara....
te adjunto un pdf donde muestra los botones para q no te confundas, es de la mia pero en teoria funcionan de la misma forma, espero q te sirva ese hard reset..
